This event was part of a quadruple marathon event. Bonkers, the lot of them!
This event took place on the coldest week of the year, with the third day taking place in -12°C, icy, snowy conditions. Anyway, I did day 4, and it had warmed up to a balmy -4°C at the start, and during the run it warmed further to +2°C. It took the same route as the Enigma winter run, and in the absence of wind, was quite a pleasant event. Had to exercise a bit of caution on some icy stretches, but a time of 5:33 was recorded. Next year's event will be announced soon and will no doubt fill up incredible quickly for such a ridiculous challenge.
