Delightful course. See last year's report. This years event again had strong north-easterly winds (so a headwind for the first part of the course), and had bank to bank floods along a lot of the tracks, adding quite a few minutes of clambering round them. As before, the marshalling and water stops were fantastic.
My run? Pulled something in the calf at 12 miles, so jogged the last 14. Managed a sub-5 by a small margin: 4:59:54.
