This is my favourite marathon. This was the third time. Lovely day out, spectacular views. The only fly in the ointment was my never-ending heel injury. Stuck to the same route as last time (there are some optional sections), and found the footpath quite easily in Calver. In fact, there were instructions provided for finding the path, which were easy to remember and follow. In 2012, this event took me 6:51. This year was a much speedier 6:50.
